this one took me about 700 minutes, straight and excluding naps and other breaks to make. longest as of 5.26.26. i feel i make my best work when i have bigger sheets of paper, or pads, to work with. between this, ‘liminality’, and ‘cōātlīcue’, i make my best artwork when i have alot of space. more to manipulate. the space you see to the left of the black & white military photo is a japanese zen buddhist garden. u think gardens are supposed to have some greenery but eh guess not. it is a buncha rocks amidst a smooth plane of carefully selected and maintained pebbles. who knows what it means?
